Residential Real Estate

Buying a home may be the biggest purchase of your life.  However, the process can be confusing and if mistakes are made, it can become your worst nightmare.  As a homeowner, a real estate attorney can protect you and your investment from the moment you make your decision to purchase through the closing of your home.

Our firm handle all aspects of residential closings whether you are a buyer, seller or lender.  Our residential real estate practice consists of preparing and negotiating purchase and sale contracts, title examination, and representation at closing.

Prior to the purchase of your new home, a residential real estate attorney may  review your contract to ensure your interests are protected, review title to the property to make sure it is clear of any liens or adverse interests, and work with you and your lender to ensure the closing process is a smooth one.

At the time of closing, a real estate attorney may attend the closing with you to review all documents and explain them to you, address any issues which may arise, and provide you with legal advice should a problem occur.

After closing, a real estate attorney may assist you with any defects which you discover in the property, disputes regarding boundary lines to the property, and prepare leases or contracts.

COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE

Your company relies on its location to conduct business, whether it’s a restaurant, retail store, office, warehouse, or even vacant land.  The purchase or leasing of any of these properties may be complicated as issues of financing, due diligence and title may arise.

LANDLORD / TENANT

Our firm represents both landlords and tenants in all matters regarding the use and possession of real property, whether residential or commercial.
